We have never seen so many bad attempts during a shootout until this one.
Craig Murray nearly fell down trying to pull
off a move, then Rob Downie tries the same thing.
It was ugly...
We didn't think a shootout would be needed
when Kyle scored with 2:44 left to put the Briskets up
7-5. But with coach Fab on the bench
barking orders, he could only watch as Muzz and Armstrong each scored for
Club Steak in they dying moments to force the extra shots.
Fitzy and Melanson each were the beneficiary
of some bad shootout attempts as guys like Muzz, Downie, Schaubhut, and
Armstrong tried some crazy you tube moves that never amounted to a shot on
goal.
Schaubhut was real close to picking up the
Goat Award, but there wasn't just one play to focus on, there were
several. After all the showboating was
finished, Chris Doyle mercifully ended the game with the 2nd Club Steak
goal of the shootout. "Enough was
enough," said Doyle. "There was no way I was going to miss my shot and see
what the hell Yellow Helmet was gonna do on his upcoming shot if I missed.
